✂️ What We’ll Be Making

With Sharla’s guidance, kids will learn the basics of using a sewing machine while creating a heat-safe bowl cozy from pre-cut fabric.

Each student will:

• Cut out and sew 1 bowl cozy in class - they will get the chance to pick any fabric they want for their cozies!

• Take home 1 additional kit to sew later at home

• Learn safe, beginner-friendly sewing skills along the way

Extra kits will be available for purchase.

Create your own stylish and functional Japanese Knot Bag in this confident-beginner-friendly class. This is a great project if you’re ready to move beyond the basics and build your skills while making something you’ll actually use.

In class, you’ll sew one large Japanese Knot Bag, and you’ll go home with the pattern to make two sizes on your own.

Beginner Quilting Workshop – From Sewing to Quilt Top

Ready to take the leap from sewing into the world of quilting but not sure where to begin? This beginner-friendly quilting workshop is the perfect place to start.

Over five in-depth classes, you’ll learn how to create 25 different quilt blocks and assemble them into a beautiful 63" x 63" quilt top from start to finish. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have the skills and confidence to design and create quilts in any size using these same techniques.

As a bonus, students will have the option to have their quilt professionally longarm quilted at a discounted rate once the top is complete.

• How to accurately cut out fabric

• Colour placement

• How to create unity across your quilt top using different coloured fabrics with multiple prints
