Refund policy

Returns and exchanges on select items are accepted within 30 days from the date of the sale with proof of purchase (exceptions apply). To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the original sealed packaging. It must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Return shipping is not included in the purchase price. Returned items and cancelled orders may be subject to a restocking fee. Restocking fees will be calculated based on your order.

Electronic parts and software are NOT returnable under any circumstance. Due to the nature of electronic parts, every care is taken to ensure they are stored and shipped in new condition.  We suggest you get a second opinion or talk with our service department before ordering electronic parts. 

The following items are Final Sale products and are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • All longarm quilting machines and tables
  • All Sew Steady extension tables, special orders, replacement parts, and rulers
  • All sewing machines
  • Longarm quilting services
  • Cut fabric
  • Quilting patterns and pantographs
  • Special orders
  • Gift Cards
  • Books and DVDs
  • Downloadable software products
  • Sewing and longarm machine parts and accessories
  • Sale or Clearance items
  • Shipping fees
  • Longarm parts
  • All rolls of batting
  • Special order parts

We are not responsible for incorrect information. Please confirm you have entered your name, address, postal code, email address, and phone number correctly.  If your parcel is returned to us, there will be no refund and you will be charged additional shipping charges for us to resend the parcel to the proper address. 

Please contact us by phone at 403-981-3500 or email at mapleleafquiltingcompany@shaw.ca prior to returning any items to us.  We will advise you as to whether we can accept your return and instruct you how to proceed.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping fees for returning your item.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received it. This may take up to seven business days after your return has been received.  If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.  This may take several days to show up on your credit card statement, depending on your financial institution.

Subscription & Club Purchases

Cancellations on our monthly Subscription Clubs are available up to the 9th of the month. No refunds are available after this date as we require processing time. Cancellations after the 9th of each month will be applied to the following month (Example: If you cancel on the 8th of September, it will cancel September's order. If you cancel on the 11th of September, it will cancel October's order and you will still receive the September shipment).  We are not able to offer substitutions or exchanges on subscription club products at any time.
