🎯 Skill Level: Beginner – no sewing experience required
👧 Ages: Beginner kid sewists 8 years old and up (must be able to follow instructions and work safely in a group)

✂️ What We’ll Be Making

With Sharla’s guidance, kids will learn the basics of using a sewing machine while creating a heat-safe bowl cozy from pre-cut fabric.

Each student will:

• Cut out and sew 1 bowl cozy in class - they will get the chance to pick any fabric they want for their cozies!

• Take home 1 additional kit to sew later at home

• Learn safe, beginner-friendly sewing skills along the way

Extra kits will be available for purchase.

• Sewing machine in good working order + foot pedal
  (Machine rentals available)

If bringing your own machine, please also bring:

• Zig-zag foot (mandatory)

• Denim needles (size 100/16 minimum)
