Get ready to bring your creativity into full bloom with our Petal Pop Zinnia Pillow Workshop—a fabulous and fun sewing day perfect for confident beginners!

Led by the always-inspiring Sharla, this class will guide you through the steps to create a bold and beautiful 3D petal pillow using 48 double-sided petals. The finished pillow is approximately 20" square and includes a cozy envelope-style back closure—yes, we’re making the whole thing from start to finish!

🧵 Skill Level:
This is a beginner-friendly class. You should be comfortable using your sewing machine and have basic sewing knowledge. This class isn’t for absolute beginners with no experience, but it’s great if you're looking to grow your skills with a fun and satisfying project.

You’ll receive enough fabric to complete one pillow, including felt for the flower centre and fabric for the back.

Optional Tool: The Petal Template will be available in class for use, and can be purchased if you’d like to take one home—this handy tool makes cutting petals faster and more precise.

🧰 What to Bring:

• Sewing machine (in good working order) & foot pedal

• Zig zag foot

• Thread (to match your fabric), pins, rotary cutter, scissors/snips

• Stylus/turning tool/stiletto (mandatory – available in-store if needed)

• Small pressing board and/or iron (if you have one—2 classroom stations will be available but bringing your own will speed up your efficiency)

• Small cutting mat (optional)

• Button for flower centre (optional)

⚠️ Note: You may not finish your pillow during class, but you'll go home with all the skills and materials needed to complete it confidently!
