Leave it up to the experts to take care of your investment. We get the job done while keeping you updated every step of the way (we know how hard it can be being away from your baby)
Regular machine maintenance helps prevent issues that may be more costly in the long run.
Maintain Quality Production
By keeping your machine in prime conditions you are ensuring that the quality work you produce is maintained.
For people who work with their sewing machine on a regular basis, maintenance can be a challenge to fit in. If you use it everyday (or almost everyday) you probably cringe at the thought of sending it out while it is still working well. Who wants to voluntarily stop sewing if their machine isn’t broken? Nobody, that’s who!
But keep this in mind: without regular maintenance your sewing machine may not perform up to quality standards. Have you ever been in the middle of a project and run into issues like bad stitch quality, uneven tension, frequent thread breaks or other problems? Regularly conducted, preventative sewing machine maintenance keeps your machine in tip-top shape and may help prevent problems before they even happen. Scheduled preventative maintenance helps to protect your asset for years to come. This results in less down time, less frustration, and more enjoyable sewing time for you!
How often should you schedule a maintenance appointment? That all depends on how you use your sewing machine. As a general rule, we recommend that you take your machine for a general service and tune-up once a year. If you are the only one who uses your sewing machine and you only sew occasionally, you may not need servicing as often.
However, if you sew or quilt weekly or daily (on your own projects or if you are in business and earn your income from sewing professionally) you should ensure that your machine receives a high-quality maintenance and service check at least once a year. This will enable the equipment to work for you when you need it.
Remember: this machine was purchased so it can work for YOU, not the other way around! A good quality sewing machine—traditional, embroidery, or serger; new or old; used often or only occasionally—will sew impeccably for many years if it is given proper care.
We are a family owned business, and our goal in life is to fulfill your needs by providing you with personalized service, going above and beyond your expectations. Our high standards mean you can leave the hard part to us so you can focus on enjoying your machine.
We have professionally trained, certified technicians who are equipped with the proper specialized tools that different brands require for removal and reinstallation of different parts. Using the wrong tools for these parts can result in damage to the parts, or to the part being installed improperly, which could damage your machine. Our technicians have access to the right tools and training, so you can have the peace of mind that your machine will be well taken care of.
Here are a few tips for getting a maintenance service performed on your machine with minimal interruptions to your sewing schedule.
1. Schedule a maintenance appointment for your machine at a time when you know you won’t be using it, such as when you are going on holidays or when your grandkids are coming to visit. We can get your machine into tip-top shape and you’ll have less disruption to your projects.
2. Do you have an older machine that you don’t often use anymore? Consider planning a project that could be completed on your older machine while your favourite machine is out for a service.
3. Ask a sewing or quilting friend if they might have a spare machine you could use while yours is out getting serviced.
We are excited to announce that we offer different extended warranty programs for our customers who purchase sewing, embroidery and quilting machines from us so you can have the peace of mind of knowing that your machine will be covered. We know how important it is for you to be able to depend on the quality of our machines and the service of our company; that’s why we want to make sure that you have the right warranty to ensure that if there are any problems with either your machine or the parts, you will receive preferred service scheduling.Find Out More!
